This March, FiftySix Design Talks invites you to a special session dedicated to the art of furniture design, where Mediterranean tradition meets modern innovation. Hosted at Friggieri Hall in the Valletta Design Cluster, we’re uniting the creative talents of Malta’s Christian Bezzina of Medina Steels and Syria’s Dania Douaidari of Dania D. Designs for an evening of exploration and inspiration. Christian transforms steel into bespoke pieces that embody style and function, while Dania weaves her Syrian heritage and Mediterranean charm into every design. Together, they showcase the power of craftsmanship and cultural narratives through their work. Set for Wednesday, 27th March 2024, at 1830hrs, this edition marks a milestone in bridging diverse Mediterranean voices, offering a deep dive into furniture design that promises to engage and inspire, highlighting the seamless blend of time-honored crafts with contemporary design. Join us for an enriching dialogue that transcends geographical boundaries and celebrates the unity of design communities.
