This week, the Golden Glitch had the pleasure of being warmly welcomed by His Excellency Mr Yassine El Oued at a meeting to discuss the design and making industry of Tunisia and the potential bridges we may create through the Golden Glitch.
A digital platform designed as a space for innovation and creation, the Golden Glitch promises to be a timely tool for the growing interest in digital making and design in both Tunisia and Malta, and throughout the Mediterranean. The Ambassador noted that the proximity of the two countries, particularly examined in the context of the Mediterranean Basin, will be key in creating new synergies between businesses, as well as new ideas for growth, particularly among the youth who are increasingly technologically inclined and are excited to discover and learn more about the digital world.
Our new relationship with Tunisia promises to be another important step towards a digital definition of Mediterranean design and making. Together, we will work on the promotion of current and future designers, to inspire new makers to make with other makers, and to connecting holistically.
Here’s to thinking digital, across seas and borders.
